The program titled, “Enforcement of Large Judgments and Arbitration Awards,” focused on issues that may arise in international judgment enforcement and the legal mechanisms to consider in order to monetize debt, including discovery mechanisms, asset freezing, asset preservation remedies and international recognition of judgments and arbitration awards.
Steven Perlstein will examine data privacy litigation and the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) at a Federal Bar Council seminar on March 6th in New York. The program, titled “Cybersecurity and Data Privacy,” will cover recent cases involving the CFAA and related civil and criminal liabilities.
Tel Aviv-based intellectual property disputes lawyer Michael Rosen will explore cross-border IP litigation strategies at Israel's 4th Foreign Law Firms Conference in Tel Aviv on February 26.
On February 18, Daniel Zaheer and Michael Rosen will share strategies for navigating changes in the patent litigation landscape at the Association of University Technology Managers 2018 Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona. Webinar panelists, Carrie Tendler and Randall Arthur, will explore how legal teams and investigators can develop coordinated investigative strategies — including exploiting judicial mechanisms — to locate and recover debtor’s assets across multiple jurisdictions, including offshore havens.
