Asia-based member of the firm’s Government Enforcement Defense team and former federal prosecutor Vasu Muthyala will discuss how governments tackle corruption in multiple jurisdictions at the International Bar Association Asia Pacific Regional Forum Biennial Conference in Mumbai, India.
The February 17 panel, titled “Corruption and its impact on companies and economies in the Asia Pacific region,” will highlight how the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) affects Asian countries and its the extraterritorial reach, as well as practical steps that organizations can take to prevent corruption.
