Kobre & Kim Pro Bono Team Prevails on Preliminary Injunction in Housing Case

As part of the firm’s commitment to pro bono work, Kobre & Kim represented a client who has lived in her home for over 40 years and, after her mother’s passing, obtained an ownership interest in the property. After her mother's death, our client's cousin, a co-owner of the property, demanded that our client begin paying rent. When our client rightly refused, her cousin filed a complaint in King's County Supreme Court.

Landmark UAE Ruling Strengthens Hand of Creditors

International investigation and dispute resolution law firm Kobre & Kim has won a landmark victory for creditors in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Dubai Court of Cassation issued a final decision unwinding the transfer of shares by the debtors to a family member, even though the transfer took place before the issuance of a final judgment confirming the debt owed to Kobre & Kim’s client.
