As part of the firm’s continuing commitment to pro bono work, Kobre & Kim is proud to have succeeded in obtaining court appointment of our client as the legal guardian of her 24-year-old intellectually disabled daughter. Our client can now petition for benefits on her daughter’s behalf, file for immigration status and obtain multiple other legal and social services.
Kobre & Kim’s Sydney Johnson conducted the contested hearing before the Baltimore City Circuit Court Family Division. Abraham Waserstein, Amy Rossabi, Duaa Khan, Jaida Griffiths, Javier Vega, Julia Campbell, Matthew Aldridge and Steven Perlstein also served on the team.
