Victoria Kay leads the firm’s strategy formulation and business development in Africa, particularly as it relates to its International Private Client integrated offering. She is responsible for working with clients and lawyers to drive their strategic priorities and product development in the region. She splits her time between Europe (London and Switzerland) and Africa.
Before joining Kobre & Kim, Ms. Kay was the Director EMEA at Brasidas Group, a Swiss firm offering bespoke business intelligence and risk advisory solutions. She is the co-founder of several investment, strategic and health consultancies and acts as an advisor for a number of ventures and projects with an African focus. With a passion for entrepreneurship, she has co-authored published research on the financing for cultural and creative industries in Africa. Ms. Kay also sit on the Advisory Board of the Philp Hatem Foundation for a Happy childhood.
Ms. Kay earned her master's degree from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and her bachelor's degree from the University of Cambridge.
