John Grofik is the Director of Global Information Security based in the firm's New York office. Mr. Grofik is responsible for securing and maintaining the firm's overall global network and security infrastructure. In addition, he is responsible for deployment, network testing, administering security appliances, implementation of anti-virus programs and technical support.
Mr. Grofik also advises the firm's clients on information protection, data security and privacy, and business continuity. Using his experience in governance and risk management, security operations, asset security and network security engineering, he executes system wide evaluations, including preventative and remote assessments, vulnerability management, antivirus protection, breach remediation and disaster recovery.
Before joining Kobre & Kim, Mr. Grofik served as an information security professional at several law firms, as well as technology and retail companies.
Mr. Grofik is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and Certified Ethical Hacker.
