Danielle Bateman is an experienced trial lawyer who represents institutional clients, executives, and high-net-worth individuals with strategic advice on high-stakes international government investigations and enforcement actions, as well as complex corporate and commercial disputes. Ms. Bateman has extensive experience working with federal and international senior law enforcement officials, prosecutors, intelligence agencies and government departments.

Before joining Kobre & Kim, Ms. Bateman was a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), most recently as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the National Security & Cyber Section in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where she was a National Security Cyber Specialist and Anti-Terrorism Coordinator and handled complex investigations and prosecutions involving money laundering, sanctions and export control violations, wire fraud, cybercrime, data breaches, cryptocurrency, and asset forfeiture. Ms. Bateman also served as a Trial Attorney in the Counterterrorism Section of the National Security Division.

Prior to her time at the DOJ, Ms. Bateman practiced at Kobre & Kim, where she focused on cross-border government enforcement actions, investigations and complex commercial litigation, and at Shipman & Goodwin. She clerked for the Honorable Kathleen M. Williams of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Ms. Bateman is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, and her Delaware admittance is pending.
