Sherwin, a high-ranking prosecutor at the U.S. Department of Justice, who most recently served as the Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, where he supervised the largest U.S. Attorney’s Office in the country, has joined the disputes and investigations firm Kobre & Kim. Mr. Sherwin will be based out of the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
