The Wall Street Journal featured on its front page the efforts of Kobre & Kim on behalf of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands to collect an unpaid tax bill of US $100 million+ owed by one of the world's most elusive figures, tech tycoon and ComputerLand founder William H. Millard.
Since being retained in 2010, Kobre & Kim's International Judgment Enforcement team has engaged in a multinational covert investigation, sifting through a network of more than 50 shell companies, trusts, and bank accounts domiciled in various tax-haven jurisdictions in a case involving work in the Cayman Islands, Hong Kong, Florida, New York, Ireland, and Singapore.
