Kobre & Kim prevailed against the U.S. government in the representation of Tiger Eye Investments Ltd., an investment company located in the Cayman Islands, before the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit. The decisions in this case reshaped the landscape of international asset freezes against non-U.S. investment funds that have monies on deposit in the United States, as Tiger Eye Investments did.
