Hong Kong-based government enforcement defense lawyer Vasu Muthyala will be speaking at the International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference in Seoul on September 25. The panel – entitled “Double Jeopardy: The Relationship between Administrative Process and Criminal Proceedings” – will discuss the circumstances in which a person or corporation can consider a case closed. Mr. Muthyala will offer his insights as a former Department of Justice prosecutor on the potential role that double jeopardy may play in a criminal conduct case dealt with under an administrative process.
