Kobre & Kim’s Timothy Haynes will join a panel on insolvency powers in cross-border asset recovery cases at the Asset Recovery Middle East virtual conference hosted by Informa on February 17, 2021 at 11:20 am Arabian Standard Time.
Mr. Haynes will draw from his relevant experience to focus on the growing recognition of insolvency practitioners that operate between Hong Kong and offshore jurisdictions, particularly Cayman and the British Virgin Islands.
Mr. Haynes will join fellow panelists Joanne Collett of Walkers Global, Fadi Sarkis of Sarkis & Associates and Colin Diss of Grant Thornton in a spotlight presentation to consider the powers held by insolvency practitioners in different jurisdictions that may be used to increase the prospects of recoveries in asset recovery cases.
