Steven Perlstein will examine data privacy litigation and the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) at a Federal Bar Council seminar on March 6th in New York. The program, titled “Cybersecurity and Data Privacy,” will cover recent cases involving the CFAA and related civil and criminal liabilities. The panel will also highlight how a company may identify potential CFAA violations such as password sharing, data scraping and the misappropriation of information by employees.
