Partner Steven Perlstein served as a panelist for a program, titled “Under Attack: Cyberdefense in the Network Age,” presented by 100 Women in Hedge Funds. Considering that cyberattacks from foreign nation states, cross-border crime rings, and individual hackers are becoming increasingly sophisticated, the panel discussed the response strategies and protective measures under development by both the private sector and federal government. Mr. Perlstein and his fellow panelists also discussed cyberbreach response management, including civil remedies and litigation strategies post-attack.
