Steven Perlstein Discusses Data Breach Litigation

Steven W. Perlstein led a session that examined issues related to data breaches, including the different types of civil and criminal litigation that can ensue. Highlights included what claims may be asserted against a company and/or individuals and the claims a company may pursue in order to minimize the use of stolen data, including the effective use of preliminary injunctions and temporary restraining orders. 

This panel was part of a program hosted by St. John’s University School of Law for its Spring 2016 CLE Weekend Program.
