Arbitration is commonly used to litigate disputes in Russia and the CIS. In the panel, “The Very End of the Line,” Hume will moderate a discussion with practitioners from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. Drawing from their own practices, including Hume’s experience in offshore jurisdictions, they will explore the use of insolvency tools, the power of office holders, and where and how they become relevant in a dispute that may result in insolvency.
