Kobre & Kim lawyer Marcus Green presented at the Global Forum on Dispute Resolution for Oil & Gas Industry in Amsterdam on May 18. The presentation, titled “Monetizing Arbitration Awards in International Energy Disputes,” addressed risk-adjusted valuation, asset tracing and disclosure in relation to international energy counterparties, common tactics of recalcitrant award debtors, awards rendered against the U.S. in favor of foreign investors, availability of interim or conservatory measures, and selling claims and awards in the distressed debt markets.
