Kobre & Kim lawyers Daniel Lee and Kunhee Cho spoke on emerging issues in the legal industry – from internal investigations to artificial intelligence – at the 27th Annual Conference hosted by the International Association of Korean Lawyers in Seoul from September 19th to the 21st.

As part of the conference’s session on Dispute Resolution, Kunhee Cho spoke on the use of AI in litigation, especially as it pertains to the way law firms conduct business and the increasing demand for technology-enhanced services.

Daniel Lee brings his experience as a former U.S. Department of Justice prosecutor to the White Collar Crime session, at the panel entitled “Attorney’s Role in Multijurisdictional Government Investigations”. Mr. Lee took a look at the changing regulatory landscape in the U.S. and Asia, and how it impacts multinational corporations and local companies’ internal investigations and responses to potential compliance violations.
