Publication: The National Law Journal

On September 10, 2013, Kobre & Kim’s Center for Trial Advocacy (CTA) held its third annual trial advocacy program, highlighting nationally recognized trial lawyers Dan Webb of Winston & Strawn LLP and Matt Menchel of Kobre & Kim.

Sponsored by The National Law Journal, the live seminar and webinar featured a live cross-examination by Mr. Webb during which he demonstrated particular lines of questioning that skillfully and effectively challenged the expert witness’ theories and credentials.

The demonstration was followed by an analysis from Mr. Menchel, the director of the CTA, during which he provided viewers with valuable techniques and tips to consider when conducting a cross-examination of a hostile witness. At the end of the program, Mr. Menchel also held a dynamic Q&A session with Mr. Webb, during which attendees shared insightful tips from their own extensive trial experience.

This program was recorded by The National Law Journal and is available on demand here.
