Kobre & Kim's Kiran Unni spoke at the European Leveraged Finance Association (ELFA) Annual Conference 2026 on October 13 in London. Co-hosted by ELFA and Milbank, the conference brought together asset managers, other investment professionals and members of the leveraged finance community to discuss key market issues, including restructuring, primary and secondary market practice, private credit, trade finance, sustainability, the credit impact of AI, and CLOs.
Kiran joined the panel, “New Restructuring Playbook: All's Fair in Love and War”, alongside investors, restructuring professionals and lawyers. The discussion examined how investors can ensure fair treatment and what they should look out for next, covering topics including liability management exercises, intercreditor agreement distressed disposal mechanisms, co-operation agreements, forum shopping, and corporate actions and litigation precedents in the U.S. and Europe.
