From starting a career in cross-border claim monetization and dilution to the importance of creative thinking to drive settlement catalysts and outcomes, Kobre & Kim’s John Han shared his insights as a practitioner during Mandarin Arbitration Salon’s latest “国际仲裁者对话” (“Chinese Arbitration Conversations”) session on October 5, 2022.
Mr. Han focuses his practice on global matters involving monetization and demonetization of distressed bonds, personal guarantees, claims, judgments and arbitral awards. The sessions are part of a series created by the salon’s founder, Elizabeth Chan of Allen & Overy, to provide informal small-group discussions in Mandarin between leading arbitration practitioners and those at the beginning of their careers.
