Join us at the upcoming ICDR-AMCHAM Korea Legal Affairs Committee Meeting on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
The event titled, "When Arbitration Needs a Helping Hand: Leveraging the Courts for Interim Relief, Discovery & Enforcement" will feature two sessions in a hybrid format—one in English and one in Korean—exploring how litigation tools can support international arbitration. Jef Klazen and Robin J. Baik will share their insights along with other distinguished panelists.
This event, co-hosted by ICDR and AMCHAM, will focus on strategies such as freezing assets pre-arbitration, compelling discovery, and enforcing arbitral awards. The panel will provide practical insights, particularly in the contexts of the United States and South Korea, on effectively resolving cross-border disputes.
The first session will be conducted online on Wednesday, April 23, at 8:30 AM KST/Asia (Tuesday, April 22, 7:30 PM EST, 11:30 PM GMT). This will be followed by an in-person session at the Peter & Kim Office in Seoul.
