Navigating overseas asset protection and risk management requires a deep understanding of cross-border asset security strategies. Kobre & Kim’s Jason Kang, Jef Klazen and Jian Wu will present at a closed-door seminar focused on asset protection for Chinese clients held at Zhong Lun Law Firm’s Beijing office on October 22, organized by Zhong Lun Law Firm, Kobre & Kim and STEP China. The event will explore how Chinese clients can protect their overseas assets in the context of a complex international environment.
Mr. Kang, Mr. Klazen and Mr. Wu will share their experience with legal risks that founders of investee companies may face, and how enterprises and investors can protect their rights and interests through legal means. They will discuss cross-border bankruptcy and asset recovery and how Chinese court judgements can be enforced overseas, as well as the opportunities and challenges presented by asset penetration. Finally, they will analyze the impact of international sanctions on asset and security protection for China based clients.
