Kobre & Kim’s Evelyn Sheehan led a discussion focused on international anti-corruption investigations as part of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Mexico Virtual Diploma in Anti-Corruption program, ongoing from September 2020 until April 2021.

The ICC Mexico workshop is an 8-month-long program during which lawyers, in-house counsel, students and government officials in Mexico attend regular sessions hosted by anti-corruption professionals. The program educates public officials, academics, and practitioners on anti-corruption regimes in Mexico and around the world with presentations and discussions led by eminent legal experts.

On Thursday, February 4, 2021, Ms. Sheehan led the closing session of the “International Anti-Corruption Investigations” module, in which she presented on the Airbus settlement, one of the largest foreign bribery resolutions to date, and its implications on international cooperation in anti-corruption and extraterritorial application of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
