Kobre & Kim’s Evelyn Sheehan will share her expertise on multi-jurisdictional investigations and cross-border insolvency tools in a panel at the International Bar Association Global Conference on September 17 in Mexico City, focused on “Civil Asset Recovery in the Americas: The Indispensable Role of Insolvency Tools and Remedies.”
Ms. Sheehan will explore the challenges and opportunities in navigating cross-border investigations, such as varying privilege protections across jurisdictions, as well as bankruptcy tools that debtors can leverage in defense against enforcement actions.
