Head of Kobre & Kim's Hong Kong office William McGovern has been recognized for his outstanding work in Dispute Resolution: Anti-Corruption by Chambers Asia-Pacific. Mr. McGovern was lauded as “an efficient, highly intelligent and solution-oriented practitioner" who is known among his clients as “calm and collected.”

Mr. McGovern, a former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) enforcement lawyer, regularly represents private and institutional clients. Support includes providing advice and counsel on U.S. government investigations into allegations concerning securities law violations, antitrust, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), money laundering, corporate accounting fraud, and various other laws with international applications. In addition, Mr. McGovern often conducts confidential internal investigations on behalf of executive boards and committees of international public and private companies.
