Legal 500 has recognized eight Kobre & Kim lawyers as leaders in their field, and has ranked the firm in the corporate investigations and white-collar criminal defense, general commercial disputes, and international litigation categories. The publication recognized the firm’s work for Chevron in the commercial disputes category, noting the “very responsive” team, including David McGill, who provides “invaluable and practical, business-oriented advice.” Legal 500 also ranked the firm as outstanding in the international litigation category, with clients noting the team’s “significant experience in dealing with international litigation matters” and that the firm’s “presence in various jurisdictions makes it a very good option.”
Founders Michael Kim and Steven Kobre were described as “first rate,” and David McGill received praise for being an “insightful, uber responsive and fearless” advocate. Eric Bruce, John Couriel, Matthew Menchel, Carrie Tendler and Danielle Rose were also recognized.
