Kobre & Kim’s Latin America practice has gained recognition in Chambers and Partners’ latest “Corporate Crime & Investigations in International Counsel Legal Rankings.”

The firm first established a permanent presence in Latin America in 2017 and then opened its São Paulo office in 2019. The practice has rapidly grown to what Chambers notes as a “dynamic practice enjoying significant capabilities in corporate crime and investigations involving Latin America jurisdictions.” The publication highlights specific experience in high-profile fraud, misconduct and money laundering cases, as well as matters involving the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

Chambers also notes that the firm has “a team that at all levels understands the customers’ needs and manages their expectations,” spotlighting in particular Martin De Luca, Gabriela Ruiz, Adriana Riviere-Badell and Evelyn Sheehan from the firm’s São Paulo and Miami offices.
