In its most geographically diverse survey to date, Kobre & Kim’s Hartley M.K. West has been recognized as one of 100 exceptional women in the field of white-collar crime as part of the Global Investigations Review (GIR) 2021 Women in Investigations survey.
Ms. West is an accomplished trial and investigations attorney who specializes in complex, high-stakes government enforcement defense matters, often involving Asia-Pacific and the United States. Based in San Francisco, she regularly assists corporations and executives facing investigations into alleged violations of antitrust, fraud, corruption, trade secret, export enforcement, and money laundering laws.
Before joining Kobre & Kim, Ms. West served as a prosecutor for the U.S. Department of Justice, including as Deputy Chief of its Economic Crimes and Securities Fraud Section.
