Kobre & Kim’s continuing expansion in Latin America, with the growth of its on-the-ground team in Brazil, was reported in Brazilian publication Análise.
The arrival of Ana Frischtak and Sergio Aguiar, both of whom the publication notes have “extensive experience in international litigation,” is part of the firm’s efforts to “strengthen its position and influence on the international legal scene.”
Ms. Frischtak “has extensive experience representing multinational companies and individuals in matters involving corruption, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), antitrust law, accounting fraud and misconduct linked to the United States, Brazil, and Latin America.”
Mr. Aguiar “stands out in complex international disputes and in the enforcement of arbitration awards, bringing his vast experience in representing clients in the construction, oil and gas, energy, aviation, mining, telecommunications and infrastructure sectors.”
