Kobre & Kim’s Vasu Muthyala will present an Anti-Corruption and FCPA Compliance Master Class for the American Chamber of Commerce in India August 21, in New Delhi. The class will focus on the present anti-corruption climate in India along with how new global anti-corruption policies will affect businesses in India and abroad.
Global anti-corruption efforts have been rising in recent years. In the past decade, new policies in the UK and APAC region, in particular, have added increased vigilance over global corruption practices. Vasu, alongside fellow compliance litigators, will discuss how the FCPA and new policies in regions across the globe are beginning to increase the policing and overall pressure on organizations to comply with anti-corruption practices. The team will discuss examples of Indian FCPA cases and cover best practices that should be employed for proper compliance.
