Reflecting the firm’s deepening engagement with the region, Kobre & Kim has for the first time been listed in Legal 500’s Latin America International Firms directory, earning a place among the top firms for compliance and investigations, and those with an office in Miami.

The publication highlighted Kobre & Kim’s São Paulo and Miami offices’ “significant focus on white-collar crime and investigations, with the teams representing a range of multinationals, Latin American corporates, executives and public officials.” The Miami team was noted for “representing senior executives and public officials involved in cross-border investigations and government enforcement actions.”

Legal 500 also spotlighted Martin de Luca’s “extensive experience in representing high-net-worth individuals and corporates in government enforcement actions” as a former U.S. Department of Justice prosecutor, and praised Gabriela Ruiz as a “recognized white-collar crime specialist, including money laundering cases.” Miami-based Evelyn Sheehan and Andrew Lourie’s representation of an international consultant in the Latin American oil and gas industry against U.S. enforcement was also highlighted, and the directory praised Adriana Riviere-Badell for her “extensive experience in cross-border investigations involving Latin America.”
