Scott Nielson has extensive experience in conducting internal investigations for large institutional clients, as well as handling cross-border investigations from government agencies such as the U.S. Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission into issues like potential Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations. Mr. Nielson also has experience working on extradition and asylum cases linked to Latin America.

Before joining Kobre & Kim, Mr. Nielson practiced at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, focusing on cross-border investigations of Brazilian and multinational companies, including a global accounting firm, a multinational mining company and a Fortune 500 company.
