Jake Chervinsky represents individual and corporate clients in high-stakes government enforcement actions and financial services disputes. He focuses on litigation involving securities, commodities, futures, and other derivatives. He has particular experience handling investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission regarding allegations of fraud, market manipulation, and other regulatory violations.

Mr. Chervinsky specializes in litigation and government enforcement actions involving digital assets. He is a leading commentator on legal issues related to the blockchain industry and is frequently quoted by prominent media outlets on developments in the cryptocurrency space.

Before joining Kobre & Kim, Mr. Chervinsky worked at Baker McKenzie LLP, where he focused on commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense, and internal investigations related to allegations of fraud and corruption.  He also advised Fortune 500 clients on compliance with federal anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing regulations.  Mr. Chervinsky clerked for the Honorable Fernando M. Olguin of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.  He received his J.D. with honors from The George Washington University Law School.
