Francesca Ip focuses on international judgment and award enforcement and cross-border asset recovery, with experience in complex Hong Kong and multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration disputes. She regularly represents multinational corporations and financial institutions in implementing simultaneous strategies in multiple jurisdictions, including Hong Kong, Singapore, the PRC, Australia, the United Kingdom and the Cayman Islands, for the enforcement of high-value judgments and arbitration awards.
Ms. Ip also assists multinational corporations and high-net-worth individuals in complex fraud matters, in particular to implement global strategies for the purpose of identifying, freezing and recovering assets that have been misappropriated as a result of business email compromises and other misconduct. She has also acted for clients in the energy and resources sector in complex disputes, both before the Hong Kong courts and in arbitrations administered under the major institutional rules.
Before joining Kobre & Kim, Ms. Ip practiced with Holman Fenwick Willan, where she handled matters relating to arbitration, insolvency litigation, fraud and asset tracing, and international judgment enforcement.
