Emma Kiver, under the supervision of the firm’s lawyers, assists in matters involving financial products and services litigation, government enforcement defense, and international judgment enforcement and offshore asset recovery.
Her most recent matters include providing research and analysis with respect to the representation of a UK-based futures trader facing criminal and civil charges of commodities manipulation, fraud, and spoofing by the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Ms. Kiver also provides research and analysis with respect to formulating civil claims to be filed on behalf of international clients in the English courts against major banks for injuries resulting from the banks’ manipulation of the foreign exchange market.
Ms. Kiver received her undergraduate law degree in English and European law (LLB) from Queen Mary, University of London. She was called to the Bar of England & Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2015.
