Chang Liu is an experienced litigator who represents institutional and individual clients in complex cross-border matters, including commercial litigation, white-collar defense, regulatory compliance and internal investigations. Mr. Liu has particular experience representing companies and individuals in investigations connected to China and involving allegations of bribery and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Prior to joining Kobre & Kim, Mr. Liu practiced at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he handled disputes and investigations involving allegations of bribery and other wrongdoings, shareholder agreements, product liability and competition law. Before that, he clerked for the Honorable John G. Koeltl of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
