Firm co-founder Steven Kobre will be joining the Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association, or HIALSA, on April 1st for the last session of their 2018-19 international arbitration workshop on what is usually the last step in the lifecycle of an arbitration, the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards. Mr. Kobre will be joining as a panelist alongside fellow arbitration specialists from WilmerHale, Jones Day, Vannin Capital and Arnold & Porter.
Drawing on multiple case studies that involve successful multi-million dollar settlements, Mr. Kobre will outline the practical challenges of enforcing judgments across jurisdictions, and effective strategies of applying pressure on debtors to enhance the chances of recovery.
