Matthew Menchel, one of Kobre & Kim’s lead trial lawyers and the director of the firm’s Center for Trial Advocacy, addressed issues relating to the U.S. government’s ramped-up efforts in prosecuting international tax evasion cases at the February 27 International Litigation, Arbitration & Transactions Conference presented by the Florida Bar International Law Section at the Conrad Hotel in Miami. During the panel discussion, Mr. Menchel analyzed the complexities of defending and prosecuting these cases and discussed strategy and best practices.
