Kobre & Kim Recognized by Chambers Asia-Pacific 2015

In the latest Chambers Asia-Pacific annual rankings for law firms and individual lawyers, Kobre & Kim’s Asia team received recognition for its insolvency and corporate investigations work.  

The guide highlighted our combined “US expertise with local knowledge of the Chinese business environment” and focus “on representing senior executives and individuals facing FCPA [Foreign Corrupt Practices Act] investigations with the potential for serious repercussions, including criminal liability.” The firm was also lauded for its "considerable linguistic capabilities, including Mandarin, Cantonese and Korean.”

In addition, Hong Kong lawyers William McGovern and Randall Arthur were each ranked by the guide. Mr. McGovern was recognized for his work in Corporate Investigations and Dispute Resolution, with peers commenting on “his ability to truly understand the client,” and Mr. Arthur was ranked for Restructuring and Insolvency, recognized as “a well-known practitioner in the Hong Kong restructuring and insolvency scene and is frequently highlighted for his deep understanding of the local market.”
