John Han and Hartley West on Partnering with the U.S. Government in Asset Recovery Efforts with ACC Singapore

April 10, 2019

When conventional approaches to asset recovery fail to compel international debtors, joining forces with U.S. enforcement to implement offensive investigations can sharpen asset recovery tactics by facilitating the acquisition of investigative intelligence, enforce court orders and apply heavy pressure to debtors.

To demonstrate how litigators can better arm themselves against negligent debtors with the help of enforcement agencies, Kobre & Kim’s John Han and Hartley West sat down with members of Association of Corporate Counsel in Singapore. The team explained how these asset-focused, private enforcement operations can be leveraged to combat fraud, restore lost revenue and secure swift, full payments in complex, cross-border asset recovery litigation.
