Former U.S. Department of Justice prosecutor Jason Masimore discussed how regulatory compliance benefits investors who face enforcement risks at C5’s International Compliance, Legal Risks and Corporate Integrity forum in Frankfurt. The panel, titled “Active Investors and Responsible Shareholders Focusing on Compliance,” highlighted compliance culture and best practices, investigation costs and the outcome of cooperation, and how to handle rules and procedures in various jurisdictions throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
