Kobre & Kim’s Miami and New York Teams Successfully Remove Three Co-trustees from US $600 million+ Marital Trust

Kobre & Kim represents Mrs. Atkins Mersentes, widow of the late Atkins Diet creator Dr. Robert Atkins, in a series of litigations against three former co-trustees of the Veronica Atkins Marital Trust. The firm is actively litigating the matter in New York State Surrogate's Court, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and other courts. Recently, Kobre & Kim prevailed in the New York State Surrogate's Court in removing the three co-trustees from their positions with the marital trust, an occurrence that seldom takes place in New York state.
