During the panel “Added complexity: Implications for cross-border investigations that include Germany,” Scott will explore the key considerations of attorney-client privilege including the impact of U.S. regulations, risks to companies operating in foreign jurisdictions and privilege waivers. Panelists will also give an in-depth analysis of the recent Volkswagen decision and its implications for multi-jurisdictional investigations.
