Jason Masimore, a former prosecutor in the Criminal Division at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) who is member of the firm’s Europe government enforcement defense and investigation team in London, discussed the impact of the U.S. government’s growing regulatory regime in the UK. The panel discussion, which focused on regulation in the financial services industry, explored the ins and outs of U.S. government investigations in the U.S. and the UK and the potential risks for industry practitioners.
