Kobre & Kim’s Evelyn Baltodano Sheehan will moderate a panel at Law.com’s Private Client Forum Americas 2026, taking place in Mexico from June 3–5.
Evelyn will moderate a discussion featuring Robert Brodrick (Payne Hicks Beach), Marni Pernica (Aird & Berlis) and Gretchen Spreitzer (Northern Trust) titled “Professionalising the Personal” on Wednesday, June 3 (3:30–4:10 PM).
As cross-border disputes, creditor claims and enforcement risks increasingly affect family wealth structures, the panel will examine the growing shift toward professional fiduciary oversight. The discussion will focus on the strategic considerations involved in replacing individual trustees, as well as how independent trustees and protectors can help strengthen governance, reduce conflicts and enhance the defensibility of family assets in contentious scenarios.
