Transatlantic Legal Awards Shortlist Kobre & Kim for Transatlantic Litigation Team of the Year

The Transatlantic Legal Awards honored Kobre & Kim on its shortlist for Transatlantic Litigation Team of the Year at its June 8 award ceremony in London.
The firm was recognized for its creative strategies to help Chevron Corporation collect a US $96 million award from the Republic of Ecuador and quash a fraudulent US $9.5 billion Ecuadorian judgment against the company, including filings and contemplation of litigation in the U.S., UK, Gibraltar, France, Spain, Germany, Ecuador, Canada, China and Hong Kong.
The award, sponsored jointly by Legal Week, The American Lawyer and Corporate Counsel, honors significant litigation achievements that span the Atlantic Ocean. The judges evaluated evidence of legal expertise and innovation, project management skills, teamwork, and client satisfaction and value.
