2020 LGBTQ Pride Month at Kobre & Kim

June 30, 2020

Kobre & Kim has once again been celebrating Pride Month this June, and while many celebrations have been put on hold during these difficult times, we are committed to affirming our firm’s support of both our LGBTQ colleagues as well as the LGBTQ community. Over the past month, Kobre & Kim’s LGBTQ affinity group Pride@K&K has brought together colleagues across our global offices to celebrate and engage in important discussions about LGBTQ allyship, the intersections between LGBTQ individuals and our black and women colleagues, and more. While we wish we were all able to celebrate and meet in person, we believe the values of Pride – equal opportunity and standing up to injustice – are more relevant now than ever before.

We are proud to have LGBTQ-identifying employees represented throughout the firm, and we remain dedicated to creating an environment where all employees can be most productive and best able to serve our clients’ needs, as evidenced by our score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2020 Corporate Equality Index.

We are also proud of our support for a number of LGBTQ-related pro bono projects and legal organizations, including The LGBT Asylum Project, The LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York, and Hong Kong Gay and Lesbian Attorneys Network.

As we move past this year’s Pride Month, we look forward to continuing to deepen our commitment to diversity and inclusion – at Kobre & Kim, LGBTQ pride isn’t limited to Pride Month.

To all of us from Kobre & Kim, we wish you a happy Pride!
